PSSO (Prince Salman Science Oasis) will be offering a very exciting program called “TREP$” to the children of different schools this year at its facility on King Abdullah Road, beside KACST (King Abdulaziz for Science and Technology). In 2006, the New Jersey PTA (Parent Teacher Association) in the USA (United States of America) bestowed this program with its Presidential Award! Using the abbreviation “TREP$,” it teaches children the skills to become young enTREPreneurS.
TREP$ is a real situation that rewards focus, determination, teamwork, creativity, communication skills, and good old-fashioned hard work. Since it does not require athleticism, superior intellect, artistic talent, or a fat wallet, this wonderful opportunity is uniquely accessible to all children!
What? TREP$, short for entrepreneur, is an after-school program that teaches children between grades 5 to 10 everything they need to start their own business.It comprises of a series of carefully planned 6 workshops that are information filled and action-packed.
