The Ritz-Carlton Hotel and The Ritz-Carlton Residences in Riyadh expected to open in 2011
The 250-room Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh and the 80-unit Ritz-Carlton Residences, Riyadh will be located on King Fahad Road. The hotel will have five restaurants including a pool outlet/grill in addition to a lobby lounge and cigar lounge.
Recreational amenities will include a health and leisure club, a spa with separate male and female facilities, and two swimming pools with outdoor seating area. The hotel will also offer 69,500 square feet of public space for social events such as weddings and conferences, a business center, 24-hour room service and retail shops. The Ritz-Carlton Residences will also have a residents’ lounge.
Designed by Echo Architects, the Ritz Carlton Hotel in the middle of Riyadh represents a new landmark next to faisaliah and mamlaka towers. Echo architects have been heavily working in the Middle East with offices in Amman, Riyadh and London.The Design is been developed in consultancy of Buro Happold from London and supported with their office in Riyadh. They are advising on the structural, environmental and Facade engineering.
